EHHA Board meeting minutes 5-4-06

The EHHA Board met on May4, 2006 at the home of Steve Harper and was called to order a 7:15 pm.  Those attending: Steve Harper, Lee Lukehart, Amy French, Sallie Martin, Steve Hill, Carole Henley, Carolyn Chaney, Cher McGovern. Absent: Mile Medin.
The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.
Officers were for the following year shall be:
President: Sallie Martin
Vice President: Carole Henley
Secretary: Cher McGovern (meeting minutes and pick up/distribute mail); 
Corresponding Secretary: Lee Lukehart, corporate records.
Treasurer: Lee Lukehart
Newsletter Editor: Carolyn Chaney

New members shared information about their areas of particular interest re Emerald Hills and the following Committees are as follows:
Communications: Carolyn Chaney, Lee Lukehart
Public Works: Steve Harper, Steve Hill, Carolyn Chaney, Amy French
Zoning: Sallie Martin, Carole Henley, Amy French
Neighborhood/ Quality of Life: Carolyn Chaney, Steve Harper (trees), Cher McGovern-welcome committee.
All committees should meet at least 4 times per year and are responsible for responding to county correspondence.


Committee Reports:
Community meeting is scheduled for May 31. Tentative date for Planning Commission is mid-July. Carolyn will follow up on specific dates
720 Paradise Way: County has asked for input re subdivision in are where there is a conflict with the Density zoning. The Board voted in favor of the subdivision as long as it was not seen as a precedent regarding the Density Zoning issues.
21 Summit: Discussion re the applicants request for exception to 2 covered parking space requirement. The Board did not take action and Sallie will advise owner to go ahead with his submittal. 
The next meeting is set for Thursday May 25th at 7:30 pm.
